G20大阪サミットにも選ばれた伝統工芸がホヤに KIRIKO Globeの新作として大阪天満発祥の伝統工芸品である「天満切子」を先日お披露目した新型のホヤに施していただきました。 光の屈折で万華鏡のような美しさの仕上がりに個人的に惚れ込んで昨年からご相談させていただきついにオイルランタン用ホヤとして完成いたしました。 江戸切子に続き、オイルランタン用ホヤガラスとしては日本初の試みという事で日本のものづくりをたくさんの方に知ってもらえる機会を少しづづ形にできてきたと実感してまいりました。 G20首脳大阪サミットでの各国首脳陣への贈呈品にも選ばれた特徴的な蒲鉾彫りになります。 この商品の掘りは個人的に好きな「星」になります。 「星」縦のストライプに星の形が組み込まれた天満切子オリジナルのデザインです。彫った個所は薬品仕上げされることが多い中、天満切子は全て手作業で磨いており彫る面積の多い星はとても煌びやかな仕上がりになっております。

  銘灯の切子シリーズ、KIRIKO Globe 国・都認定、日本が世界に誇る伝統工芸「江戸切子」をランタングローブに施した新たな工芸品。 「KIRIKO Globe-EDO-」 HEXA GLOBEをベースに認定工房にて、職人が全て手工業で紋様を彫っています。 面がある珍しい形状のため、切子と火両方を楽しむ事が出来るのが特徴です。   ■籠目■竹籠を編み込んだように、六角形が連なって現れる江戸切子の伝統文様。直線を交差させて表現される形は、蜂の巣や籠の目のように見えることから「籠目」と呼ばれます。古来より魔除けの文様とされ、連続する六角形が堅牢さや安心を象徴してきました。繊細な線の重なりによって生まれる立体的な輝きは、光の角度によって表情を変えるのも特徴です。
