Kiriko Globe, a series of famous lanterns

National and metropolitan certification: a traditional craft that Japan is proud of around the world
A new craft item that uses "Edo Kiriko" cutting glass on a lantern globe.

"KIRIKO Globe-EDO-"

The patterns are all hand-carved by craftsmen at a certified workshop based in HEXA GLOBE.

Two patterns are available: one with three sides and one with six sides.

Its unusual shape with facets allows you to enjoy both cut glass and fire.

■Starry Night■
The chrysanthemum connection pattern is one of the most difficult to create among Edo Kiriko patterns.
It is created by combining vertical, horizontal and diagonal straight lines to connect continuous patterns.
The name was chosen because the finely cut intersections resemble the chrysanthemum flower, which symbolizes eternal youth and longevity. "Kiku" can also be written as "Kiku" (chrysanthemum), so it also means that joy will continue for a long time.

Even a skilled craftsman can only produce one or two sea squirts a day, which is a very laborious process.
